John Humphrey Coconut was born in Barcelona in 1986. Self-taught musician, poet and painter. His musical style comes from blues, rock, funk, pop and tropicalism, born of it also songs full of color and with African touches. His poetry of romantic and cursed style, is crossed with the suffering of a schizophrenia that accompanies him in his writings. His style and pictorial motifs lie in a set of themes such as palm trees or naked women, in paintings full of intense chromatic nuances. Lover of the afrodescendant woman is an artist who has always learned in a solitary way and under the tendency of the tropical motif in all his thought and part of his art.

John Humphrey Coconut nació en Barcelona el 1986. Músico, poeta y pintor autodidacta. Su estilo musical viene desde el blues, el rock, el funk, el pop y el tropicalismo, naciendo de ello también canciones llenas de color y con pinceladas africanas. Su poesía de tono romántico y maldito, se cruza con el padecimiento de una esquizofrenia que le acompaña en sus escritos. Su estilo y motivos pictóricos yacen en un conjunto de temas como las palmeras o el desnudo femenino, en cuadros llenos de matices cromáticos intensos. Enamorado de la mujer afrodescendiente es un artista que desde siempre ha aprendido de manera solitaria bajo la inspiración tropical en todo su pensamiento y parte de su arte.
