Lemonille is a solo music project founded in 2018 by the multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Nicola Masseria. Drawing on artists like Radiohead, AIR, The Cure and Depeche Mode, Lemonille takes a dip into an alternative 80’s dream pop and new wave soundscape, and writes about his past memories, fears, sadness, dreams and love. In 2020 he released his first singles Synopsis and When I Come Back, mixed and mastered by Giuliano Gius Cobelli and distributed by Giant Pulse Records.
LYRICS:
Like a long journey to my heart
So glad to see this place again
Not on a summer day
And I remember when I used to dream this time
When I come back
Thinking about the place where I didn’t want to live
When I come back
Bringing back some old memories
Don’t want this moment to ever end
Shall we go for a walk now?
Like one last time
I will remember all the things we do, you and me
When I come back
I will remember how the sun was shinning here
When I come back
And I’ll try not to breathe, not to be sad
When I come back
I miss you more than I can say when I am here
When I come back
It’s very hard for me to live in a past memory
When I come back
New on the excellent label AVANT!, the debut from Plastic Estate is irresistibly shadowy goth pop with dark majesty & grandeur. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 9, 2022
